My husband recently starting spear fishing and got all his gear for Christmas. We have been eagerly awaiting the crayfish season and finally it has arrived.
This morning he went out with a friend and brought back our first crayfish! It’s only one, so I will pull out some other meat and we will have a braai (barbeque) tonight and give it a try. It’s the first time we will be cooking a crayfish so I hope we do it well.
What can be more sustainable that catching your own food?
We are hoping to go down the south coast in a couple weeks time. Crays are much more abundant down there away from the city.
